Our Annual Fall Neighborhood Tour, this year held in the Bemis Park, overcame football season and the unpredictable Nebraska weather to prove a resounding success. Spread over two days this year the tour included 10 gorgeous homes and one of Omaha’s oldest trees. 954 attendees, members, volunteers, and homeowners explored and discovered a gem of a neighborhood. Here are a few things people said about it:
“I enjoyed sitting on all the porches and reading the history of each house before entering.”
“Shock, Awe! I now have a definite appreciation for the people and architecture in the Bemis Park Neighborhood.”
“Very unique neighborhood- enclave-esque, of all of the historic Omaha neighborhoods. This one MUST be preserved as a historic neighborhood intact.”
“I went on last year’s tour which was also very cool, but this year’s was on another level! My girlfriend and I loved it despite the weather.”
Thank you to all our generous sponsors and volunteers, our intrepid homeowners, and curious members and attendees for making this our best tour yet.
