Interested in purchasing and restoring an underutilized property, but unsure where to start? The Omaha Municipal Land Bank can help! Come for an informative and interactive morning where you can talk with Land Bank employees plus contractors and funders who can help make your dream of restoring a property a reality. Special pre-conference opportunity to shop our unique store. Hundreds of Omaha and architecture books, prints & memorabilia.

Store is also open during Saturday conference.

 

 

 

2 to 5 P.M/Historical Brewery Tour – $25 

SOLD OUT!

Tour starts and ends at Infusion Brewery Company at 6115 Maple Street

Come aboard Ollie the Trolley and explore the history of Omaha’s historical brewery sites with Bill Baburek, Infusion owner and local beer expert, and Kristine Gerber, editor of the new book, Nebraska Craft Beer. Stops include sites that produced Falstaff, Krug, Metz, Storz and Willow Springs beers. The tour will end around 4:30 p.m. at Infusion where attendees can tour the brewery’s restored 1917 building, added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

 

 7 to 10 P.M./Opening Reception & Theatre Tour – $25

Tickets available at the door. Check in at the Benson Theatre’s B Side, 6058 Maple St., for food, drinks and conversation. Then head two doors down to tour a former vaudeville theatre. See and hear about the plans to transform the space into a place that offers educational opportunities during the day and comedy, dance, film, music, spoken word, theatre and visual arts performances and exhibitions at night.
